| Funding & Donations |
Pinewood Centre receives funding from two principle sources: The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, though the Central East Local Health Integration Network (who has an extensive website at www.centraleastlhin.on.ca) and Lakeridge Health (www.lakeridgehealth.on.ca).
Additional funding to support specialized services comes from the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, and the Ministry of the Attorney General.
Pinewood has been fortunate to have many individuals, groups, families and service clubs donate funds to help support "extra" components of programming, such as clothing, furniture, therapy materials, client medications, safety equipment and other essential items. In recent, a beautiful Chess Table and chairs was donated in memory of John Cotton to our Centre Street location. Many of the prints and decorative items have been kindly donated, or placed in memoriam.
