| Adult Outpatient Services |
The Adult Outpatient Program at Lakeridge Health is a specialized service that provides follow up to adults 18 and over who have utilized other hospital services and who are experiencing mental health difficulties which cause distress and interfere with functioning. The program is staffed by a psychologist and a social worker who provide group and limited individual psychotherapy. Clinical staffs have expertise in treating adults with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders and trauma related disorders. The Adult Outpatient Program is designed to provide a seamless continuum of treatment for clients who have been seen by the Crisis Intervention Team, been on the inpatient unit or have attended the Mental Health Day Treatment Program yet require more treatment to function in the community. The focus of the service is to provide treatment and stabilization to patients as they maintain their daily functioning in the community. In addition, those accessing our services avoid the need for further costly hospitalization and limited psychiatric services.
For more information about the program, please contact us at 905-576-8711 ext. 4144.
